a room full of people.
Almost nobody in this industry names the crew. That is strange, because a live show is bought on the competence of the people in the truck, not the badge on it.

Calls the show. Owns the cut, the running order and the recovery when a feed drops.

Vision mixer
Executes the cut. Sits on the desk for the full duration — an eleven-hour broadcast is an eleven-hour shift.

Camera operators
Hard cameras, handhelds and long lens. Multi-camera discipline under a single talkback.

Replay / EVS operator
Records every angle, cuts highlights live while the show is still running.

Audio supervisor
Console, comms and the mix that goes to air. Also the interpreter feed and clean effects.

Broadcast engineer
Camera matching, racks, signal integrity and the fault nobody else can find.

RF / transmission
Contribution path, encoding and the redundancy that keeps the show up.

KSL interpreter
Live Kenyan Sign Language on output — a working position on the roster, not a bolt-on.
